Fundamentals of Network Planning and Optimisation for Wireless Communications: 2G, 3G and systems beyond presents a detailed coverage of Network Planning and Optimisation across the technologies from 2G to 4G/future mobile communications. There is currently a crucial gap in the market for a publication of this kind. There are currently no books that cover 2G, 2.5G and 3G technologies along with the Radio, Transmission and Core Network Planning. The volume will be of an introductory level but will also appeal to those with a more advanced knowledge of the area. As a result of its coverage of Transmission and Core, it will have a broad appeal.
